Blue → red: April–October temperature (12–21°C). Light wine: Premier Cru; deep wine: Grand Cru. Future climates are five-model medians.

Areas: INAO Délimitation Parcellaire des AOC Viticoles, acquired from official Géoplateforme WFS on 12 October 2026. 16,698 regional records checked before selecting Côte de Beaune qualifications. These are production-eligibility areas, not broad PDO administrative zones or planted vineyard footprints. Official INAO plans determine legal boundaries. WFS retrieval date is used; no date is borrowed from a separate ZIP edition. Open Licence 2.0. Grades follow official nomenclature. Grand Cru, Premier Cru, village and regional overlap is resolved in favour of the higher qualification. Present boundaries are held fixed for comparison, not projected backwards through history. Geometry simplified at about 2m. Label anchors lie inside qualifying areas and are not village centres. Climate: CHELSA v 2.1,30arcseconds (roughly 1km),CC0. Baseline 1981–2010; future 2041–2070,SSP1–2.6/SSP3–7.0. Five models: GFDL-ESM4,IPSL-CM6A-LR,MPI-ESM 1-2-HR,MRI-ESM 2-0,UKESM1-0-LL. April–October monthly mean temperature is weighted by month length; monthly precipitation is summed. Scale/offset verified in source files and official specification. No missing values in the regional subsets of all 154 files. Future maps show cellwise model medians. Reference figures first area-weight each model over 13 cells intersecting current Grand Cru eligibility areas, then calculate median, min, max across models. The model range is not a confidence interval. The simplified reference covers about 1.931km². No parcel-specific temperature variation is invented inside a climate cell. The temperature-band view fixes the area-weighted baseline 10th–90th percentiles at 15.551–16.037°C before comparison. It selects future cellwise model medians within those limits. This is temperature similarity, not optimum growing temperature, whole-climate analogy, suitability, wine quality or future classification. Monthly means are not used to derive frost, heatwave or harvest dates. Terrain: 43,200 actual IGN RGE ALTI service samples, roughly 190×278m spacing. 25 m contours are derived from these samples. Original 5m tiles were not acquired. This is terrain context, not parcel-scale insolation or microtopography. Open Licence 2.0. All layers share the map extent and projection. Harvest dates: only the two published period averages in Labbé et al. (2019) are used. The raw annual series is not included. Historical records end in 2018; they are neither current harvest dates nor future projections. Only current Premier Cru (light wine) and Grand Cru (deep wine) eligibility areas are filled, with translucent overlays on the blue-to-red temperature background in A and C. Regional/village fills and fine parcel outlines are omitted; place names remain as text. Callouts connect to representative points inside eligibility areas, not town centres or separate château locations. River lines are hidden. Natural Earth supplies the France locator. This inland region has no invented coastline.
